The Ministry of Arts and Cultural Heritage and the Nelson Mandela Centre for African Culture Trust Fund open the doors of Lespas Lar, La Tour Koenig with the inaugural exhibition, Lafrik dan Mwa, ‘The Africa in Me’ featuring the work of 40 local and international artists. The exhibition provides an in-depth look at how contemporary artists engage with the African continent and notions of displacement, identity, sense of belonging, resilience, paving the way for an art that is free and inclusive of our origins.
