Board and Staff

The Trust Fund is managed by a Board of Trustees and operates under the aegis of the Ministry of Arts and Culture.  It is administered by a Board known as the Nelson Mandela Centre for African Culture Trust Fund Board.  The Board of Trustees takes policy decisions in line with the provisions of the NMCAC Trust Fund Act. Its members are nominated by the Minister of Arts and Culture. The Chairperson is appointed by the Prime Minister.  The Director is responsible to the Board for the day-to-day management of NMCAC.  NMCAC has FOUR main sections namely Research & Documentation Unit, Administration Section, Finance Section and Cultural Section.
